How to start. How to finish.
And how to live your life to the fullest in between!
In 1991 I taught my first university-level computer science course. Since that time I have observed many students and have reached some conclusions regarding why some seem to be high achievers and others seem to drift.
In First to Last I have distilled many of those conclusions into a series of four sessions. The sessions involve some talking, but are designed to elicit active participation, thinking, and action beyond the sessions.
Although First to Last involves practical information regarding how to get the most out of your college education, its lessons have much broader application and delve into such issues as finances, relationships, and vision.
Many college students, when asked why they came to college in the first place, recount the following mantra:

The reality is that:
The purpose of First to Last is to empower college students to make choices that avoid the many pitfalls that steal the peace and prosperity available to them.
